If you are headed this way, you already know that Steamboat has received over 3 feet of snow this week. Yes, you read that correctly! It is abundant and it is cold, so even if your plans are bringing you here in a couple weeks we will have plenty leftover. More snow is in the forecast next week, so Ullr has been doing his work for us.
If you are looking for upcoming events, we have a few! Right now, the 32nd Annual MusicFest is in town. While the tent is sold out, there are 4 free concerts at the base area. Coming up on January 15th is the Cowboy Downhill which is always a crowd pleaser. Watch the shenanigans at the base area and don't forget the balloon glow that evening.
In February, mark your calendars for the 104th Winter Carnival! Fireworks (because you know we do fireworks here!) parades, ski jumping, marching band on skis, Lighted Man....the list goes on, but if you haven't ever experienced it now's the time.
Ski ya on the mountain!
Live. Play. Own.
