The Fish Creek area is in between the mountain and Old Town. The area is named after Fish Creek which originates high above on Buffalo Pass, near the Continental Divide. The scenic and dramatic falls are a busy year-round tourist attraction.

The Fish Creek area is nestled in between Hilltop Road and Fish Creek Falls Road, which is behind the Health and Recreation Center and Post Office. It is mostly comprised of single-family and townhomes and most of the homes were built after the 1980’s. Because this neighborhood is perched on a hill, many of the homes have spectacular views. As one nears Fish Creek Falls, there are a few higher-end neighborhoods such as Boulder Ridge, Elkin’s Meadows and Mountain View.
