The hills are greening up, the critters are out and about and sounds and smells of summer are in the air! Real estate transactions are purring along, even though we typically consider this mud-season and a slower time of year…the numbers say differently. Currently, we have 200 pending sales and some healthy activity on showings across the board.

March was another a great month for the Real Estate market in Routt county! Gross volume was $61M – up 95.05% compared to last March, with YTD at +51.4%. There were 112 transactions – up by 30.23% from last year and the YTD transactions are at +29.65%!
There was a total of 135 DOT recordings, with 56% of purchasers closing with financing at the time of sale, and 44% closing with cash. There were 73 refinance transactions in March.
Upper End unit sales were up to 14 in March compared with 8 in February. New Unit sales were also up in March with 7 compared to 2 in February. There were 2 Bank Sales in March.
